DU UG CSAS phase 2 registration begins
Delhi University UG admission 2025: CSAS phase 2 registration begins, apply now
The University of Delhi (DU) has started the second phase of its undergraduate admission process for 2025. Students who completed Phase 1 of the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) can now fill their course and college choices on the official DU portal. This is a very important step for getting a seat in your preferred college or course.
What is CSAS phase 2?
CSAS stands for Common Seat Allocation System. It is DU’s method to give seats to students based on their CUET UG 2025 scores.
The whole process is divided into phases:
-
Phase 1: Students register and share their basic details and exam scores.
-
Phase 2: Students select their preferred courses and colleges.
In Phase 2, students who have already finished the first phase can log in to the admission.uod.ac.in website and start choosing their preferred colleges and programmes. This option is open until July 14.
DU offering many UG programmes and colleges
Delhi University is offering admission to 79 undergraduate programmes and 18 combinations for BA courses. These are spread across 69 different colleges under DU.
Students can apply for any course depending on their CUET UG 2025 scores and their personal preferences.
If you haven’t filled the CSAS Phase 1 registration form yet, you can still do it. The last date to register and fill both Phase 1 and Phase 2 forms is July 14, 2025.
After this date, the system will automatically lock all the choices you submitted. You won’t be able to make any changes after that, so be careful before submitting.
For students who already submitted their Phase 1 forms, there is a correction window available. It started on July 6 and will stay open until 11:59 PM on July 11.
During this time, you can edit your application form, but only once. So, make sure your changes are final before saving them.
Simulated rank will be released on July 15
After the choice-filling window ends, DU will release a simulated rank list on July 15. This list will show students where they currently stand based on their CUET scores and preferences.
It is not the final allocation, but a preview to help students decide whether they want to change their preferences before the real list comes out.
The first seat allocation list will be released by Delhi University on July 19. It will tell students which college and course they have been given based on their rank and preferences.
If you are happy with the seat, you must accept it by July 20.
After you accept your seat, your chosen college will check your documents and application. This process will continue until July 22.
If everything is correct, your seat will be confirmed. If not, the college might contact you for corrections.

Final date to submit applications is July 23
The final date to submit all application forms for this round of admissions is July 23. After this, the seat confirmation and allocation process for the second round will begin.
On July 24 at 5 PM, DU will display the vacant seats left after the first round. This will appear on the candidate’s dashboard on the DU portal.
Students who want to try for better options can then reorder or update their preferences.
The second seat allocation list will be published on July 28. Students who get new seats in this round will need to accept them by July 30.
Just like the first round, the colleges will then check the documents and confirm the admissions.
